
SR 5 / US 1 SW 80 St to Riviera Dr.
This is a Resurfacing, Restoration and Rehabilitation (RRR) and safety improvements along SR 5 (US-1/S. Dixie Hwy) from North of SW 80 Street to South of Rivera Drive. The scope of this project include mill and resurface mainline, widen the sidewalk along the east side, median modifications throughout, modify driveways, upgrade traffic and pedestrian signal features, upgrade TMS at 3 sites, upgrade guardrail at several locations, replace bridge expansion joints, upgrade signing and pavement markings including Elephant Markings at the U-line, develop traffic control plans, assist with construction administration. CWI is the prime design firm for the District 6 project.

Miami Dade College West Campus Traffic Study
Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) is planning on constructing a NB on-ramp flyover to the HEFT from NW 117 Ave over NW 41 St. MDC is considering adding a driveway connection to NW 117 Ave. This study analyzes the traffic entering and exiting MDC, as well as the surrounding streets. This study also identified recommendations for the design of the proposed driveway connection and improvements to the local roadway network.

This 1.0 mile of 4 lane divided with dual left turn lane RRR and safety improvement design project is located along Quail Roost Dr. / SR 994 / SW 186 Street. CWI is the prime design firm for this FDOT District 6 project.

This 2.1 miles of 6 and 8 lane divided RRR and safety improvement design project is located along Kendall Drive / SR 94 / SW 88 Street. CWI is the prime design firm for this FDOT District 6 project.

SR A1A
Vero Beach
This RRR design project is located along SR A1A from north of Tides Road (MP 8.660) to south of Coco Plum Lane (MP 15.400) in Indian River County. It is a two-lane undivided urban minor arterial with a shared left turn lane. The scope of services include development of project documents to mill and resurface, upgrade pedestrian signal features and ramps, sidewalk improvements, shoulder reworking to develop a 7 ft. buffered bike lane, and lighting analysis at signalized intersections for retrofit lighting. CWI is the prime design firm for this FDOT District 4 project.
